MEDICAL EQUIPMENT/WHEELCHAIRS - MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
Operates an equipment loan closet for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis in need of durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds, and Hoyer lifts. Equipment is generally loaned for 90 days. Offers limited financial assistance to help pay for medical equipment or repairs to previously purchased equipment or for home or auto modifications that are not covered adequately by insurance or other community programs.
